Easy to make creamy cheesy pasta

An eight day long holiday it is….moreover Christmas time…This time, Mercury level dipped below 12 degree..met department is quite hopeful of temperature going southward further…. it’s quite cold these days, as it used to be during our childhood winter days. Global warming subsided then? Don’t know really… just extreme weather in 2019 we could see.. Riu buri is a big fan of pasta. And what more happiness could I shower upon my toddler than to serve her a hot plate of tasty penne with a dash of grated cheese in a melting state?! I left the comfort of the bed at 8 am and started prepping up to serve my family a bowl of happiness…. no veggies cut, nothing …..just cream and cheese, dash of oregano, parsley….minced garlic, onion cubes….As my pasta is done, all curtains raised, sun beaming with all it’s sweetness and glory…. I call upon my two little elves (the other one?! Ahh… Of course my husband it isπŸ˜€)….and yes that smile was a bigger one as they awakened….. for they slept for 8 hours ( a rare thing these days with us) and of course as they saw the piping hot palate on the bed – table (again an uncommon sight since I resumed back my office)….. Yum yum yum…. Here’s the recipe for creamy cheesy pasta for you….. It’s super easy to make and superbly delicious….try it yourself πŸ˜€

Ingredients required to make creamy cheesy pasta:

  • Penne pasta – 2 cups
  • Salt
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 – 3 cheese cubes (processed cheese)
  • Refined oil
  • 1.5 tbsp of dried parsley leaves
  • 1.5 tbsp of oregano mix
  • 2 onions – cut into cubes
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 12 garlic cloves – chopped

The recipe for creamy cheesy pasta:

  1. In a pan of boiling water, add salt and 2 cups of pasta. Boil as per packet instructions. Pasta should be al-dente, that is it should be cooked yet you can feel the bite. Strain water, wash in running cold water, keep aside
  2. In a pan, heat some refined oil
  3. Drop in minced garlic. Saute till rawness goes away. They should not be burnt though
  4. Drop in onion cubes, fry till pinkish
  5. Add boiled pasta over low – medium flame and saute
  6. Add salt to taste
  7. Add a splash of fresh cream, paprika, oregano, parsley. Stir, mix well
  8. Add grated cheese and mix well till pasta is well coated with cream and cheese
  9. Switch off flame

Your creamy cheesy pasta is ready to be served! Bon appetit πŸ˜€
